John Kerry will debate President Bush Thursday.
As Rachel Lucas might say: I. can't. wait. Can't!
No doubt Kerry will have some total bullshit story about having been exposed to Agent Orange while on his 4-month 'Nam tour of duty.
What is it with drastically altering your appearance for a televised debate? Al Gore wore an oversized suit with a 60" neckline and excess blush - he looked like a skinny kid who tried on his fat uncle's Ronald Reagan costume. It didn't help.
The President's campaign has put together this website that will feature live factual updates during the debates, and will also serve as a repository of debate-related information.
In other news, the President is up by 6 to 9 points over Kerry, depending on which polls you read. The Left is about to pee a ring around themselves. CNN has to gag and spew a little puke through their nose in order to even publish this headline: "Bush apparently leads Kerry in pre-debate poll."
Apparently? Why not just dispense with the phony non-partisan veneer (which doesn't have anyone fooled) and just publish the headline that you really want: "Idiot Bush tragically leads Kerry in pre-debate poll."
Predictably, the Amercian people will be described as stupid, selfish (how dare we choose safety at the expense of intellectualism), and suckered. There will be a flood of opinion pieces lamenting the lack of desire for an intellectual administration in Washington. However, I'll bet that those writers won't spend a lot of time praising the 20th century's two most academically-lauded presidents: Herbert Hoover and Jimmy Carter.
Could it be that the American people know something that the ivory tower eggheads don't?
