As much as I enjoy writing on my blog, the demands of work and family have forced me to make a difficult decision: drastically scaling back Mike's Noise.
In the nearly two years that this blog has been running, it has
attracted over 100,000 visitors and dozens of links from numerous other
bloggers, including big-time folks like Michelle Malkin, Gateway
Pundit, PowerLine, InstaPundit, and LaShawn Barber, just to name a few. Each day about a hundred folks wander through my online pages. I've gotten to meet
many other bloggers and make many online friends. And I've loved every minute of it.
I'll still contribute an article or two per week as "MikeOK" over at WizBang Bomb Squad (and cross-post them here) and I'll continue my Virtual Victrola music posts every weekend. But other than those regular features, blogging will be very light.
I'll still be blogging, but my other blogs will be commercial in nature and will (hopefully) begin to generate a steady income for me. I'll update Mike's Noise with news about my other blogs as they go online, which should be within the next two weeks or so.
So to everyone who has stopped by here and has either praised my writing or called me an absolute idiot ... thanks.
