Illness and a host of other obligations have severely limited my blogging time during the last few weeks.
I am also just burned out on current events, particularly politics and the vicious mudslinging in the US congressional races across the country, particularly the deceptive Michael J. Fox stem cell ad campaign and the "how-low-can-you-go" slime pit that is the Virginia senate race.
I'm going to take some time off blogging. I'll probably be back after election day with some thoughts on how everything turns out. A prediction you want? Okay -- Republicans keep a slim majority, probably less than 5 seats in the House, and we may end up 50-50 again in the Senate. If the Republicans keep a majority in the Senate, it will only be one or two seats. If that actually happens, it will be entertaining to watch the Democrats implode.
Meanwhile, GodBlogCon II is underway at Biola University in Los Angeles. I attended last year's conference but could not make this one. Check out SmartChristian.com and LaShawn Barber for links and event roundups. You might also want to read LaShawn's excellend essay on why Barak Obama is severely overrated.
Thanks for reading my blog, and God bless.
